The wild world of Hiyoko is home to a wide variety of colourful characters that can be found throughout the land’s various locales.
The Human
After falling down a strange well, the human wakes up in the strange world of Hiyoko. At first, it’s locals don’t welcome their new visitor, acting out of fear and distain. Eventually, through the human’s efforts they’ll eventually grow to accept them, establishing the human as a pillar of their community.
Clover
Often seen with a mysterious book in their wings, Clover is an avid researcher of the legends of Hiyoko. Their ultimate goal is uncover the truths of the great titans, figuring out why such ruins have been left to waste in the wilds of the land…
Rockhopper
As the local surfer hotshot, he might act tough a lot of the time - but really he’s a softie. He uses this big stature and personality to fiercely protect his little brother: Gus.
Gus
The gleeful Gus! Usually found innocently strolling along the beach, this little penguin hopes to one day tackle his fear of the big sea and surf the waves just like his big brother.
Namazuki & Namazinki
This fish-loving duo can be found hidden in plain sight throughout the land. Fish can be left as offerings to these strange creatures, and once no one is in sight - they’ll catch these fish and assume their statue forms. Perhaps if shown that the world isn’t out to get them, these playful Yokai would have friends to play with.
